Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get in touch with Woof & Walk?
Visit the 'contact us' link above for all the details you need to arrange your free consultation.
What can I expect from the consultation?
This will be an opportunity for me to come meet you and most importantly, your pet, to discuss your individual requirements. We can work through forms and setting up any arrangements.
Is Woof & Walk fully insured?
I am fully insured and CRB checked. I also hold a L2 Certificate of Competence in Dog Walking from City & Guilds. I'll be happy to provide any documentation you require.
What payment method can I use?
We will accept cash, cheque or bank transfer.
Do you let pets off the lead during walks?
No, not without your prior approval and only when we are comfortable in doing so
Do you give my pet treats on the walks?
No, not without prior approval or treats provided by you to encourage good behaviour
Do you walk dogs in groups?
Our dog walking service is as a group by standard as I believe dogs really enjoy making new friends but I would only do this with your prior approval and no more than six dogs at a time.
Who from Woof & walk will visit my house and walk my dog?
Only I (Diana) will be responsible for all aspects of what it takes to undertake your agreed requirements.
Where will you walk my dog?
Dog walks will always be in your local area or park via foot or car if required.
If you have a spare key to my home, where do you keep it?
All keys will be kept in a secure safe when not in use. I will be the only person able to access this.
What happens if there is an emergency whilst you are looking after my pet?
The veterinary release form completed at the consultation will enable me to take your pet to the vets for treatment. I have also completed a Canine First Aid course and I carry a kit for minor injuries.
